An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate in Bioinformatics to join the Cancer Genetics team on the Prostate Cancer UK funded project “Identifying patients with aggressive prostate cancer by detecting molecular subtypes in urine”. This project aims to identify known and novel prostate cancer subtypes from the extracellular vesicle fraction of urine and to use them to develop tests for advanced disease and improve our understanding of cancer progression. You will lead the bioinformatics/data analysis aspects of this project.

In this role you will contribute ideas, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
