"Senior Research Associate"

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE–photoreceptor interactions and developing new lines of research.

Essential Functions:

• Participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions and developing new lines of research.
• Oversees animal experimentation, including strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo phenotype testing.

Required Qualifications:

PHD in biology or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in small rodent handling and husbandry required.

Minimum Salary: $65,000

Maximum Salary: $72,000
