  • Support and facilitate Community Action Groups to identify and deliver local priorities
  • Apply developmental evaluation approaches to continuously learn and adapt initiatives

  • Contribute to funding opportunities, advocacy and long-term sustainability of FNQ Connect
  • Represent the program at forums, workshops and community events

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in community engagement, health, disability or community development
  • Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills across diverse communities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in place-based or community-led initiatives
  • Cultural capability and commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate research into practice

What we offer

  • A generous superannuation scheme with up to 17% employer contributions
  • 5 weeks of annual recreation leave plus leave loading
  • 15 days paid sick/carers leave per year
  • The opportunity to make a genuine impact in regional and remote communities
