Position Summary

The Senior Research Support Specialist (SRSS) within the Department of Psychology will join a multidisciplinary team that currently has three ongoing federally funded studies. One is a clinical trial evaluating remote vs. in-person methods on trial efficiency and quality. The second project is a laboratory study on abstinence-induced withdrawal among daily vapers compared to daily smokers. The third project uses technology to passively assess vaping patterns.

The SRSS will operate within defined protocols, relying on research scientists for complex tasks, and recognize when standard procedures may not apply.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or another health-related profession
• Combination of conscientious adherence to study protocols and excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic proficiency with keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of research experience with human participants

Salary Range

$35,566 - $45,000
