Offer Description
The selected person will join the Research Group in Systems Biology and Statistical Methods for Biomedical Research within the research line ''Prognosis of mortality in critical traumatic patients'' and will provide services within the framework of the project PV10402 - Development and validation of a new model prognostic of mortality in critical traumatic patients, RETRASCORE2, a prospective multicenter study,
The project is part of the national multicenter registry RETRAUCI and aims to structure and integrate dynamic clinical and analytical data into a longitudinal dataset (RETRASeries).
Some of the tasks to be carried out are:
- Structuring, debugging and analysis of clinical and analytical data from the RETRAUCI register.
- Construction and maintenance of the RETRAeries longitudinal dataset.
- Application of artificial intelligence techniques (unsupervised clustering, pattern recognition) to identify physiological signatures and combinations of biomarkers linked to survival, complications and recovery patterns.
- Support for the explainability of the predictive models developed within the framework of the RETRALogic project.
- Preparation of reports, scientific publications and presentations of the results, and collaboration with the clinical teams involved.
- Participation in project follow-up and coordination meetings
Requirements
Research Field: Medical sciences
Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Data Science or equivalent.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, such as clustering, classification, and explainable artificial intelligence.
- Experience in data visualization or dashboard development (e.g., Shiny or web platforms).
- Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan.
