The Organic Synthesis Group of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Nuno Maulide at the Faculty of Chemistry is currently seeking a Senior Scientist, 20h/week, with experience in organic chemistry and natural product synthesis for 4 years temporary employment relationship, which can be made permanent after positive evaluation. Our Team currently consists of 11 post docs, 13 prae docs, 2 senior scientists and administrative colleagues.

Your future tasks:

Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

• You will establish a research profile in the field of automation of chemical reactions and software development.
• You will participate in research projects and scientific studies focusing on the development of new methods, protocols, and the design of new apparatus for the automation of organic reactions.
• You will publish internationally and give presentations.
• You will assist in writing grant proposals and acquiring third-party funding.
• You will independently teach courses in accordance with collective agreement regulations.
• You will support the supervision and training (mentoring) of PhD, MSc, and BSc students.
• You will participate in evaluation measures and quality assurance.
• You will take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.
