Senior Services Specialist
The Area Agency on Aging is seeking a dedicated Senior Services Specialist to support adults with disabilities and seniors across North Idaho. This role is all about connection - helping people navigate available resources, coordinating services that promote independence, and building partnerships that strengthen community support. You’ll represent the agency at outreach events, educate the public on important issues, and serve as an advocate for vulnerable individuals. Day to day, you’ll listen, guide, and empower clients and their families as they make decisions about long-term care and quality of life.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills, strong computer abilities, and the capacity to manage details while keeping the big picture in mind. Compassion, problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit are key. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required License and/or Certifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
Starting pay range: $18 - $20
Work Site Location: Aging and Adult Services
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
