We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Student Recruitment Manager (Undergraduate) to lead and develop the University’s Undergraduate Student Recruitment team, supporting prospective students and driving growth in CAO applications to Maynooth University. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to a high performing team responsible for outreach, relationship management, and engagement across the second level and Colleges of Further Education sectors, as well as with key influencers throughout the student recruitment pipeline.

The role has responsibility for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of a comprehensive programme of recruitment activity, including Open Days, school and college visits, exhibitions, FE liaison initiatives and digital engagement. The post-holder will ensure a consistently high standard of service, impact and student experience across all recruitment touchpoints.

The Senior Student Recruitment Manager will also have oversight of undergraduate recruitment publications and communications, including the undergraduate prospectus, supporting print and digital materials, and CRM-led communications with prospective students, parents, and guidance counsellors.

A core element of the role involves analysing recruitment trends and performance, developing a deep understanding of the CAO cycle, and providing strategic insight into applicant trends. The post-holder will advise on opportunities and risks that support undergraduate growth.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and advising on undergraduate student recruitment strategy (CAO). They will represent Maynooth University externally across the second level and FE sectors and will work closely with Communications and Marketing, academic departments, and professional service teams to ensure aligned messaging, evidence-based decision-making, and responsive, effective CAO student recruitment activity.

The role requires flexibility, with irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, necessary to support recruitment events and activities nationwide.

Salary:

Senior Administrative Officer IV: €70,034– €111,202 p.a. (7 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
