Job Description

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of summer camps, including space reservations, scheduling, housing and dining, ordering supplies, transportation, and IT needs using multiple technology platforms proficiently
  • Will be first point of contact for students and parents during summer camp registration period
  • Responsible for day-to-day coordination of summer camps when they are in session, including check-in and check-out, purchasing of daily supplies, working with camp directors for immediate needs, and working with camp counselors to ensure daily schedules are adhered to
  • Responsible for building and updating summer camp website pages with assistance from Marketing and Communications
  • Maintains FAQ sheets pertaining to summer camps
  • Works with camp directors to create and update budgets and planning needs for their camps
  • Participates in annual preparation for registration opening
  • Assists manager of summer camp programs to update communications and create tracking documents needed for payments, forms, and other camp deadlines
  • Attends all planning meetings scheduled with camp directors, including post-camp meetings to determine strengths and weaknesses of camps
  • Will assist the manager of summer camp programs with updating annual planning timeline as necessary
  • Supports the STEM Center mission by participating in outreach and engagement events as required
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87-$26.87 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
