About the job:
The role of the Senior Study Coordinator is to manage the set-up, initiation, conduct, monitoring, and archival of NIHR BioResource Stage 1 research studies. The post holder will manage a small team and undertake responsibilities for successfully coordinating and delivering Stage 1 study activity.
About you:
- Be educated to degree level or have equivalent qualification or relevant experience relating to the post
- Have had proven success within a research-led clinical setting focusing on the coordination of volunteers for research studies/clinical trials as well as protocol development and implementation
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the principals of Good Clinical Practice and UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research
- Have excellent IT skills, including a high level of competence with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate experience in line management, excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload across different groups of teams
