Based in the AMRC’s flagship Factory 2050 facility, you will be employed by the University of Sheffield and will hold a key role in progressing the uptake of mechanical engineering, assembly and manufacturing by working closely with key collaborators in the UK and internationally.

We are looking for someone with experience in implementing mechanical engineering and assembly technologies in an industrial context, and who isn’t afraid of challenging “the norm”. You might have been working in a related role already or maybe in a relevant field. What is crucial is the desire to seek solutions to challenging problems, and drive the adoption of new technologies within the manufacturing sector.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to present your work, or further your knowledge, through attendance at national and international events. The AMRC supports professional development, including chartership and training relevant to your role.
