About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Trial Manager to lead the coordination of the AssistMS study, a multi-site clinical trial focused on evaluating the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology to improve treatment decisions for people with multiple sclerosis.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of trial delivery, including the installation of the AI software. You will act as the primary liaison between icometrix (company providing the AI software), the Blizard Institute team, participating hospitals, and external collaborators, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

The role involves budget oversight, preparation of progress reports for oversight committees and funders, and occasional site visits for monitoring. You will also supervise a small study team, providing day-to-day guidance and support.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in conducting and managing multi-centre Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs) or medical device studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating Research Ethics Committee (REC) submissions, regulatory authority applications, and local R&D approvals. A thorough understanding of research governance frameworks and ICH-GCP principles is essential.

They should be capable of working independently, planning workloads, and meeting tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as the role involves close collaboration with colleagues, investigators, and external partners. We value flexibility, cooperation, and teamwork, and are looking for someone who can contribute positively to a collaborative research environment.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact study in a dynamic research environment.

If you are passionate about clinical trials and ready to take ownership of a complex project, we would love to hear from you.
