The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has a proud heritage dating back to 1828 and is honoured to have His Majesty King Charles III as Royal Patron. Today, we teach over 16,000 students across six UK campuses and work with international educational partners worldwide.
Our aim is to transform education and, in doing so, transform the lives of the individuals and communities we serve. We are proud to be ranked 1st in Wales and 2nd in the UK for Student Satisfaction (Times Higher Education, July 2025).
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional to lead the continued development of ServiceNow as a core digital platform for the University.

You will work across ServiceNow capabilities including workflows, integrations, automation, Service Portal, CMDB, Virtual Agent, Live Chat and AI-enabled functionality. You will provide technical leadership, establish development standards and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with organisational priorities.
What you will bring
You will have substantial practical ServiceNow experience, including:
- Development and configuration
- Scripting, workflows and integrations
- Technical leadership and architectural decision-making
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience of ServiceNow certifications, automated testing, DevOps practices, enterprise integrations or higher education would be advantageous. Above all, we are looking for strong practical ServiceNow expertise combined with the ability to lead and influence.
The role is permanent, based at our Swansea or Carmarthen campus, with flexibility for hybrid working and attendance at other University locations when required.
What we offer
