I. Application Requirements

Education and Experience: Applicants must possess a doctoral degree from a renowned university domestically or internationally, and have engaged in postdoctoral research at a prestigious university, research institution, or a well-known enterprise’s R&D institution, either domestically or abroad, or currently hold a formal teaching/research position.

Academic Achievements and Development Potential: Applicants should have achieved innovative research results with a certain level of influence in their respective fields, demonstrating strong academic competitiveness. They should also possess clear academic development ideas and the ability to independently conduct innovative research, showcasing outstanding academic development potential.

II. Support for Visit

During the visit, accommodation and meals will be arranged by the university. Invited scholars will be eligible for reimbursement of round-trip travel expenses, subject to the following conditions:

1. Travel subsidies are provided for economy-class airfare or second-class high-speed rail tickets, with the following maximum limits per person:

Europe & Americas: CNY 13,000

Asia-Pacific: CNY 7,000

Domestic (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan): CNY 5,000

Overseas Talent Visit Subsidy

To sincerely invite you to gain a deeper understanding of our university and ultimately join us, the university offers a full-cycle visit subsidy from your participation in the forum to your formal employment. The details are as follows:

Category I:

For senior researchers at the level of Associate Professor (Associate Research Fellow) or above from globally renowned universities and first-class research institutions, or high-end industrial talents (e.g., chief scientists, chief engineers, or senior R&D personnel from world-renowned technology enterprises), a monthly subsidy of CNY 22,000 per person will be provided to the applicant and accompanying family members, with a maximum of CNY 56,000 per family per month.

Category II:

For postdoctoral researchers or individuals holding a doctoral degree (generally expected from or graduated from globally renowned universities or first-class research institutions), a monthly subsidy of CNY 18,000 per person will be provided to the applicant and accompanying family members, with a maximum of CNY 44,000 per family per month.

Note: Subsidy support will be available for a maximum duration of 6 months and will cease upon the scholar’s formal employment by the university. For further details, please refer to the relevant policy outlined in the Talent Settlement Notice for those admitted to the “Kepiao·Wanxin Station” (a talent support program for researchers in Anhui Province).

IV. Talent Support Policies

(i) Support Policies for Overseas Outstanding Talents

01 Tenure-track Full Professor with Public Institution Staffing: Directly appointed as a full professor and doctoral supervisor.

02 First-Class Remuneration Package: Upon approval of the project and full-time onboarding, talents will receive an annual salary of CNY 1 million and a settling-in allowance of CNY 2 million.

03 Ample Research Funding: The national government provides research start-up funds of CNY 1-3 million, with the university providing matching support at a 1:2 ratio, potentially reaching up to CNY 9 million.

04 Optimal Team Configuration: The university supports the establishment of research teams. Upon project approval and commencement of work at the university, 2-3 recruitment quotas will be provided, along with 1-2 doctoral student enrollment quotas annually (without any restrictions from the affiliated school/discipline).

05 Worry-Free Living: Enjoy access to Hefei’s top-tier educational resources and high-quality medical care nearby; benefit from preferential policies for high-level talents in Anhui Province and Hefei City; active assistance will be provided to secure employment for spouses.

06 Heartwarming Application Guarantee: Candidates who reach the final review stage of national talent programs but are not selected will be directly offered a position under the public institution staffing system and included in the internal talent support system. They will receive comprehensive and generous benefits according to the standards for recruited talents, and the university will continue to fully support their application for various talent programs (plans) to support their future development.
