Position Summary
A Simulated Patient (SP) Actor (Level 5) provides support for medical students to learn and be assessed in a safe and controlled environment, which replicates aspects of real life situations. The SP is required to learn a complex script provided to them and perform the role accurately and consistently for multiple students. Scripts may illustrate different medical interviewing scenarios and may detail medical, family and occupational history, emotions, behaviours, disease signs and symptoms.
