Upward Bound is a federal grant program designed to increase the number of low-income and first-generation students who are prepared to graduate from high school and enter and persist in post-secondary education. Upward Bound provides five-year grants partnerships to provide services at high poverty, underserved high schools. Upward Bound grantees serve an entire cohort of students beginning in the ninth grade and follow the cohort through their first year of college.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Project Director with the implementation of goals and objectives

Responsible for part-time staff supervision & coaching

Provide oversight of UB teaching staff at partner school

Aid with student/parent recruitment and outreach

Schedule & facilitate project support services and activities at the partner school
