Smart Start Instructor

Job Description

The Adult Education Smart Start Instructor delivers instructional services to adult learners and is responsible for planning, documenting, and evaluating effective teaching practices, procedures, and instructional materials. This role includes providing instruction in literacy, high school equivalency (HSE) test preparation, workforce readiness, and integrated education and training programs. Instruction also supports career pathway development and workplace education to enhance students academic and employment outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree (Education, Adult Education, or related field)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching, training, or instructional experience working with adult learners or secondary-level students.
• Experience delivering instruction in literacy, high school equivalency (HSE) preparation, workforce readiness, or related areas.
