Job Summary
The Social Media & Relationship Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations and implements CCM’s social media strategy for Workforce Development (WFD). The Specialist develops and maintains an active social media presence with a focus that includes, but is not limited to, promoting WFD courses, programs, apprenticeships, grant-supported training, success stories and business and community workforce education. The Specialist will work closely with the WFD Coordinator to align on content to highlight. The Specialist will also contribute to marketing efforts to promote the college’s Center for Workforce Development, engaging with audiences to drive enrollment. These efforts will focus on creating content around specific WFD offerings and distributing content via email blasts. Review and report metrics to the Director of Marketing & PR on a monthly basis. Use insights from metrics to identify opportunities, gaps, and shifts needed to maintain optimal social media presence.

Qualifications - Education
Associate’s degree required with a minimum of 1-3 years of strong work-related experience.

Qualifications - Experience
Must be collaborative and able to work in highly creative environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to exercise independent judgment. Previous experience in higher education is highly desired.

Qualifications - Skills
Highly proficient in Hootsuite, Social Media Platforms, Google Analytics, Canva, Constant Contact; experience in using other MS Office Suite applications and MS 365

Work Hours
24.5 hours per week. Flexible daytime schedule. Some weekend and evening hours may be required to capture content for social media.
