Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student at the Community Helping Place. Social Services Assistant will support the various programs at CHP including communicating with clients and providing administrative clerical support to program managers. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8-6.

Responsibilities

• Office support: file paperwork, share information about community resources with clients.
• Store: assist thrift store manager at the register or with special merchandising projects.
• Clinic: answer phones, speak to patients, interact with physicians and nurses.

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer the following majors: Business, Marketing, Social Work, Nursing, Mental Health
