Sociology Instructor. Rising Scholars Program - Part-time Adjunct Pool

Basic Function

Please Note: Kern Community College District accepts applications for part-time, hourly faculty pools on a continuous basis. This is for an adjunct pool that will be used to staff part-time adjunct positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of Sociology courses in the Rising Scholars Program.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's in sociology OR Bachelor's in sociology AND Master's in anthropology, any ethnic studies, social work or psychology OR the equivalent.

AND - A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
