Software and Infrastructure Engineer, National Cybersecurity R&D Lab (NCL)
Job Description
This position involves creating cyber games infrastructure, its implications for teaching and learning cybersecurity, as well as evaluating their effectiveness. The job requires the candidate to design and implement systems that are backed by cybersecurity theory, cybersecurity practice, educational pedagogy, and system design principles.
- Creating cybersecurity challenges
- Designing and implementing systems to host cybersecurity challenges
- Help measure pedagogical metrics that are applicable to cyber games.
Qualifications
- Must have completed Bachelor’s degree or very close to completing it.
- Experience participating in Capture the flag events.
- Experience designing capture the flag events (both infrastructure and challenges).
- Knowledge of educational pedagogy related to teaching cybersecurity.
