Solution Architect
About This Opportunity
The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in defining and maintaining the organisation’s data and integration architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. They oversee design for data platforms, APIs, and integrations, set standards and governance, and mentor teams to deliver cohesive, data-driven solutions. The role also drives innovation by adopting emerging technologies and promoting continuous improvement across data and integration practices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Define and maintain enterprise data and integration architecture aligned with business goals and strategy.
- Provide solution design and oversight for data platforms, APIs, and integration solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
- Govern data and integration standards, practices, and assurance, embedding security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and architects, mentoring teams to deliver cohesive, data-driven solutions.
- Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and promoting continuous improvement in data and integration practices.

About You
You will be an experienced IT professional with a strong background in solution architecture and enterprise integration. With a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability, you can deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs while engaging effectively with stakeholders. Your collaborative approach and ability to stay across emerging technologies will ensure continued innovation and best practice.
You will demonstrate:
- Qualifications equivalent to a postgraduate degree in IT or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and operating complex integration solutions in large enterprises.
- Experience applying agile project management methodologies to deliver outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and managing teams in dynamic environments.
- Advanced problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities to drive innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc. You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
