Spanish Language Lecturer
SPANISH LANGUAGE LECTURER
Pitzer College invites applications for the position of Spanish Language Lecturer. The successful candidate will be joining the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (MLLC) field group (academic department), which offers courses in Spanish, Portuguese, and French languages and cultures. Candidates should have a master’s or doctoral degree in Spanish or a related field and solid training and demonstrated excellence in language teaching at the undergraduate level. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish is required, proficiency and ability to teach in Portuguese or French are a plus. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include teaching a total of six lower-division and conversation language courses per year as needed.

Compensation: $71,513.00 The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
