About Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College

Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College (YWICC), located in the world famous trade city—Yiwu, grew out of Hangzhou University-Yiwu, was founded in 1993. The campus covers an area of over 160 acres and boasts a building floorage of 239,000 square meters. It is a beautiful garden-like campus with its picturesque natural scenery and unique architectures. The enrollment of Chinese and international students reaches over 12,000 at present.

The college provides education in a wide range of subjects in 9 faculties, namely School of Humanities& Tourism, School of Mechatronics & IT, School of Economics & Management, School of Foreign Studies, School of Architectural & Civil Engineering, School of Creative Studies, School of Entrepreneurship, School of International Education, and Department of Public Courses, with the number of 3-year academic programs reaching 33. In addition, other education programs such as continuing education and Zhejiang University distance education are also available in YWICC. The college boasts a group of 618 faculty members, 199 of them with senior professional titles, 30 with PhD degrees and 489 with master’s degrees.

Job Details:

Position: Spanish Teacher

• Native speaker of Spanish, bachelor’s degree or above to teach Spanish to Chinese students majoring in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• You will be teaching classes of Spanish, 14-16 classes a week, plus office hours and occasional lectures and recordings, and fulfill all kinds of normal teaching assessment and evaluation, etc.

Qualifications:

• Native Spanish speaker:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master and Doctor’s degree preferred;
• Teaching certificates such as TESOL and TEFL, 2 or more years of ESL teaching experience;
• Professional, responsible and enthusiastic.

Salary & Benefit:

1. The salary is 11000Yuan/month (before tax) for master degree, and 17000Yuan/month (before tax) for doctor degree. Contract period: one year (12 months, the contract can be renewed);
2. Free accommodation- a flat in good conditions with one bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom (with internet service, air-conditioner, water heater, bed, sofa, desk and chair, wardrobe, refrigerator, micro-wave oven etc.).
3. Summer vacation with pay (July and August) for about 8 weeks, winter vacation with pay (January and February) for about 4 weeks;
4. Medical insurance and accident insurance;
5. Food allowance: RMB500 each month in contract period;
6. International Airfares: international traveling fee of no more than RMB8,000 based on the tickets amount provided. Flight and high-speed train shall be economy class;
7. Travel Bonus:RMB2200After the successful completion of a one-year contract;
8. Visa fee in China (once per person per year).
