Special Education Instructor | Temporary (1.0 FTE ) 2026-2027

Position Summary

Online and face to face teaching and supervision of student teachers during school hours at the placement site.

Work Schedule

The proposed course schedule will require face to face on campus teaching of students throughout the day between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The position also requires travel to supervise field students or student teaching at the field placement site.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three years successful teaching in public schools.
• Masters degree in special education or related field.
• Commitment to the education of diverse populations.
• Successful performance in an interview including a teaching demonstration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Higher Education.
• Experienced supervising field and student teachers.
