Job position

Specialist Research Support Technician.

Contribution to the development of the “POPLIFE” browser and analysis of its data.

Contribute to the POPLIFE pipeline and analyse its genomic variation data.

• Destination: Department of Genetics and Microbiology
• Category: Research Support Specialist Technician (3-O)
• Working time: 31,5 hours/week

Job position requierements
Higher-level vocational training (FP2), intermediate-level vocational training, upper secondary education (Baccalaureate), or equivalent qualification.
A Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Bioinformatics, or Biotechnology will be considered an asset.

Master’s degree in Genetics or Bioinformatics.
Practical experience in the research area of the group will be considered an asset.

Computer Science: Knowledge of bioinformatics applied to genomic data
Languages: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Benefits

€29.184,19 gross salary/year plus the amount corresponding to the Campus Allowance and any other applicable salary supplements.

  Higher-level vocational training (FP2), intermediate-level vocational training, Baccalaureate, or equivalent qualification: 10; Generic Bachelor’s degree: 20; Specific Bachelor’s degree: 30; Generic Master’s degree: 15; Specific Master’s degree: 30
• Languages – 20
  English C1: 20; English B2: 15; English B1: 10
• Other requirements – 20
  Internship experience in the group’s research area: 20

Minimum score 60

Selection process

A single curricular phase and, if necessary, a second interview phase—unless the panel proposes other actions, tests, and/or interviews to be conducted, in accordance with the agreement of February 1, 2019.
