On 07 th of October of 2026, the University of Huelva issues the following resolution for the recruitment of a Specialist Technician commissioned by the Project “Innovative agricultural practices to contribute to environmental improvement and biodiversity in the Doñana area. AGROBIO – Doñana”.

Specific Requirements: An individual with the capacity for the autonomous work, initiative for problem-solving, and experience and knowledge in terrestrial robotic systems, navigation systems, sensors, ROS, and analysis of agricultural multispectral images. They must have an interest in research and the hability to tackle open-ended problems.

Salary
Amount: 1.357,50 € gross, monthly including the prorated share of extra payments
Duties and responsibilities:
- Technical support in the physical assembly, electronic wiring, cabling, and functional verification of robot sensors and actuators for ROS2 integration.
- On-site operational support and technical assistance during agricultural field trials and data acquisition missions.
- Downloading, cataloguing, structured storage, and basic pre-processing (standard radiometric calibration and quality control checks) of multispectral image datasets.
- Keeping experimental test logs, recording technical incidents, and performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic platforms and sensing equipment.
- Execution of functional bench tests and standard operational checkout procedures for electronic and mechanical subsystems in accordance with established guidelines.

Selection process:
- Holding a higher qualification than required in the field of Engineering, valuing its relevance to the duties to be undertaken: 2 points.
- Having studied robotics modules: 1 point (12 ECTS == 1 point; 6 ECTS == 0.5 points).
- Academic transcript: 1 point.
- Experience in setting up robotic platforms and knowledge of ROS: 3 points.
- Experience in the acquisition and analysis of agricultural multispectral images: 2 points.
- Personal interview: 1 point.
Additional comments: In compliance with Section 8 of the Resolution of the University of Huelva of December 18, 2025, which establishes the legal basis and schedule for the publication of public tenders for personnel contracts for the realisation and execution of projects, grants, agreements and contracts with third parties of fixed duration for the year 2026 (BOJA nº 248 de 26/12/2025), the application must be accompanied by the following documents in order for the applications to be included in the lists of admitted and excluded applicants:
