Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, West Bengal is recruiting for SRF positions. The institute is devoted to the research, teaching, and application of statistics, natural sciences, and social sciences.

Job Position: SRF

Title of the Project: “To identify the role of genetic and epigenetic alterations in epidermal keratinocytes in the pathogenesis of Psoriasis (CRG/2020/003837)”

Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Life Science/ Biology or associated field with CSIR-UGC-NET/ GATE and at least 2 years of post Masters’ degree research experience in Genetics/ Genomics/ Molecular Biology as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals.

Job Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Pay Scale: Rs. 35000/- plus HRA as per rules of the Institute per month.

Tenture of appointment: Initially till 31 March 2022 from the date of joining, which may be extended or terminated based on performance and fund availability.

Age: Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 June 2021 with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/differently abled candidates.
