The Surrey Sleep Research Centre (SSRC) is dedicated to multidisciplinary research on the function and regulation of sleep and circadian rhythms. Its sleep recording facilities and equipment are state of the art enabling longitudinal and intensive physiological monitoring of participants under carefully controlled conditions. The SSRC is home to a forward-thinking team of physiologists, molecular biologists, neuroscientists, psychologists, and engineers who passionately address several of the most important questions in sleep and neuroscience research.
The role
You are a dedicated and agile person willing and able to take responsibility for the project management (planning, preparation, and reporting) of multiple concurrent human research projects being conducted in the Surrey Sleep Research Centre. These projects will be conducted in both healthy volunteers and patient groups living with chronic conditions. You will ensure that these projects are delivered to high quality, safely, within timelines and budget, and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. In addition, you will take responsibility for the accurate and efficient management of a range of data types collected during the lifecycle of these research projects.
About you
You will have a degree in Life Sciences or equivalent vocational qualifications plus a number of years' practical experience in a similar or related role(s) or significant vocational experience, demonstrating development through the acquisition of appropriate professional or specialist knowledge.
