Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: A key member of the Office of Academic Advising & Support Team, the Academic Outreach Coordinator works directly with students and contributes to the management of the administrative and functional operations of the office. Duties include general advising and undeclared student advising, academic case management outreach, and retention initiatives. The Academic Outreach Coordinator will utilize MCLA's student management system, EAB Navigate, to coordinate and keep track of student outreach. The Coordinator promotes a positive and successful learning experience for students. Applying a holistic approach, the Coordinator works within the context of specific subject content and provides general guidelines to help students refine and improve their academic habits and college success.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Academic Advising
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises student employees as assigned.
