HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:
They will maintain the front desk (answer phones, greeting guest).
The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary contact for external guests/visitors.
Serve as point of contact for faculty copy requests.
Maintain departmental syllabus files (to help keep compliance), update departmental display boards, coordinate/oversee office requests (recycling pick up, office maintenance needs, etc) with various GSU departments.
Assisting the Business Manager, Administrative Coordinator and Department Scheduler with special tasks.
Serve as the contact for department conference room and classroom.
Oversee small department events (ie. faculty recruitment, hotel reservation, departmental retreats), process exam grading utilizing the scantron reader.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience. Various computer skills may be required.
