Minimum Qualifications

Minimal Qualifications required: Active medical practice (BE/BC) in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine and eligible for licensure in North Carolina.

License/Certification Required

Active medical practice (BE/BC) in family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, or emergency medicine and eligible for licensure in North Carolina. Previous experience in university student health and sports medicine is desirable. A valid DEA license, NPI registration, updated basic CPR, eligibility for medical malpractice coverage, and other documentation for the health service's credentialing process. A satisfactory criminal background report is required. Documentation of identity and employability of the applicant will be required before the hiring process can be finalized.

Preferred Qualifications

1) MD/DO with > 3 years of primary care experience 2) experience in college health or adolescent health highly desirable 3) special skills/background in areas such as sports medicine also highly desirable.

Work Schedule/Hours:

Mon-Fri 8-5pm, occasional weekend coverage, and as assigned on-call coverage

Suggested Salary Range:

$170,000 - $175,000
