Department Summary: The Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study is a multidisciplinary team of renowned UCLA scientists and health care practitioners established to conduct the Health Study, which will consist of five components, including a health and health care use assessment, exposure assessment, community engagement, data management and statistical analysis, and overall program administration. Under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator the incumbent will be responsible for subject recruitment, training, and data collection activities for all research studies under the Principal Investigator's domain. The individual is also responsible for ordering supplies and insuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment and research records.

Salary & Compensation: *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications
- Knowledge of principles of patient safety and evidence-based practice. (Required)
- Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental clinical assessment skills. (Required)
- Demonstrate ability to evaluate student and volunteer learning and proficiency in assigned skills. (Required)
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of Medical Terminology. (Required)
- Demonstrate ability to evaluate student and volunteer learning and proficiency in assigned skills. (Required)
- Practice appropriate self-time management skills. (Required)
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision. (Required)
- Demonstrate ability to work with persons of various backgrounds and ethnicities. (Required)
- Consistently maintain professional behavior in all interaction with staff, faculty, administration and students, reflect a "customer service" approach. (Required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations: Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
Special Conditions for Employment: Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation. Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment. Ability to work from 7AM to 8PM (Required). Proficient in English. Demonstrates strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. (Required). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed. Consistently available during working hours. (Required).
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm
