Statistical Programmer
Job Description
The Department of Data Science and Biostatistics (Real-World Evidence group) at the University Medical Center Utrecht is seeking a Statistical Programmer / Biostatistician to contribute to large-scale, real-world health data projects.
In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of epidemiologists, medical researchers, data engineers, and statisticians on studies assessing the safety and effectiveness of medicines and vaccines. The projects involve distributed analysis of sensitive health data using a common data model to support causal inference.
You will contribute to:
- Implementing target trial emulation study designs and reviewing statistical analysis plans
- Designing and developing analytic pipelines with data engineers, and support continuous improvement
- Processing, visualizing, evaluating, and reporting statistical results
- Contributing to teaching and research activities within the department
Requirements
What We Offer: A full-time (100% FTE) position, with salary in scale 9 or 10 depending on your experience. An initial one-year contract with the possibility of extension upon a positive evaluation.
Conditions of Employment
The maximum salary for this position (36 - 36 hours) is €3,598.00 gross per month based on full-time employment. In addition, we offer an annual benefit of 8.3%, holiday allowance, travel expenses and career opportunities.
