Shenzhen Polytechnic University is seeking a foreign German lecturer for the Faculty of Business and Foreign Languages.

Shenzhen Polytechnic University is a public undergraduate-level vocational institution, formerly Shenzhen Polytechnic established in 1993. In June 2023, the Ministry of Education approved its establishment as an undergraduate vocational university. Basic Application Requirements

• Comply with PRC constitution and laws, school rules; love Chinese culture and education; no anti-China activities or illegal proselytizing.
• Good professional ethics, academic integrity; no criminal record or disciplinary actions; no ongoing legal disputes.
• Team collaboration, friendly, responsible, patient teaching, cross-cultural communication skills.
• German nationality, Master's or higher, experience in large enterprises, generally under 50 years old, good health.
• German C1 certificate, background in language, education or related; business German preferred.

Position and Duties

Position: One foreign German lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Foreign Languages.

• Conduct front-line teaching: German listening/speaking, oral, reading, writing, business German; 14-20 hours/week (45 min each).
• Support student foreign language competitions and activities (speeches, festivals, open days).
• Assist Chinese teachers in German language/culture activities, promote cross-cultural exchange, participate in course design and materials.
• Prepare lessons, grade assignments, manage classes, communicate with secretary and Chinese teachers.
• Provide student evaluations and enter grades as required.
• Complete other assigned foreign language teaching tasks.
