Job Summary/Basic Function
The Dayton Regional STEM School is looking for a Licensed Social Worker for the 2025-2026 school year to support students in grades K-12. This role is essential in advancing our mission to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Social Work License (LSW or LISW required) by August 1st 2025
• Master's degree in social work or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices, equity in education, and restorative approaches

Essential Functions and percent of time
• Identify and assess student needs through observations, referrals, and data-driven practices. Provide direct support to students through individual and small-group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional development - 65%
• Serve as a liaison between school and community agencies to connect families with mental health, housing, food security, and other wraparound resources- 30%
• Other duties as assigned that support the school's mission- 5%

Working Conditions
Special contract terms and conditions of employment apply.
