The Structural Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the
integrity and functionality of the College’s structures and
fixtures. This position involves a combination of carpentry,
masonry, painting, and general building maintenance tasks to ensure
a safe and aesthetically pleasing campus environment. The ideal
candidate is skilled in various construction and repair techniques,
with a focus on both reactive and proactive maintenance.

Shift Start/End Time: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Hours Per Week: 40
Weeks Per Year: 52
Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular Full-time. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
Work Location: This position is an onsite role and is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Supervisor: Supervisor of Structural Trades
Position Purpose: Maintains and repairs structures and fixtures on campus using a range of materials, including wood, concrete, mortar, and more. Applies paints, stains to interior and exterior surfaces, while also performing minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed. Proactively identifies and executes preventative maintenance measures to uphold the overall structural integrity of the College’s facilities.
