Wage employees are paid an hourly rate for actual hours worked and are limited to working 1500 hours per year and can only work a maximum of 29 hours a week. Work hours must be counted on the basis of the twelve-month period beginning May 1 of each year and April 30 of the following year. Wage employees in all agencies (all branches of government) are limited to working no more than 1500 hours during each twelve-month period of May 1-April 30. Should you work 1500 hours prior to April 30, your services will be terminated immediately. You will not be eligible for employment again until May 1.
