The Student Affairs and Service Quality (SASQ) Team is responsible for providing student support services within the Faculty to support all students to help to achieve their academic goals. As the Student Affairs Officer, you be responsible for providing expertise and advice to students and staff while ensuring compliance with University and Faculty policies, procedures, and guidelines.
This is a full-time continuing position, working in Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine.
About the person
We are looking for a dynamic individual with significant experience in the provision of services that support students to succeed and achieve their educational / career goals. As the Student Affairs Officer, you will be an integral member of the team, committed to providing high quality support and advice to students and academic staff. In this position, you will thrive on working autonomously while being part of a collaborative team and will be interested in cross-training and progressing your career.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys an educational working environment focused on delivering an excellent student experience.
- Understands the student journey and has experience in the use of student management systems.
- Has experience with Microsoft Office and student systems platforms (for example, Student One, StudyLink, D364 or similar).
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for communicating with a range of people and is an engaging and effective communicator.
- Has high-level organisational and time management skills and enjoys working independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting competing deadlines.
- Will work harmoniously with others whilst contributing to team outcomes / values working as part of a team.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
