Job Summary
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Support various administrative functions, including but not limited to answering phone calls, duplicating documents, managing email correspondence, affixing stamps to posters, and facilitating reservation processes
- WolfConnect: serve as a student administrator¿ managing the engagement software, posting events, uploading attendees, granting user access, assisting Registered Student Organizations
- Support newly-hired Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion (CSII) Engagement and Service Representatives and newly appointed Registered Student Organization leaders and advisors
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management by organizing information to support efficient and effective operations
- Assist with various surface-level duties enhancing the experiences and initiatives supporting the following CSII functional areas: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Student Involvement; Leadership Programs; Volunteer Programs; and Fraternity & Sorority Life; and, Marketing
- Craft compelling and informative monthly newsletters, curating content and ensuring timely distribution to keep campus stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Support seamless financial processes by assisting with purchases, tracking expenditures, and maintaining organized financial records
- Attain knowledge of Policies, Procedures, and Requirements for Registered Student Organizations, Wolf Code, University Legal, Student Activities Fees and Budget Allocation, and other areas revolving around campus events
MANUAL TASKS:
- Assist with maintaining, organizing, and moving/storing supplies
- Safely operate university golf carts to transport individuals, materials, and equipment across campus while adhering to established safety guidelines and protocols

- Conduct and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
EVENT MANAGEMENT:
- Conceptualize and execute innovative event ideas, ensuring seamless planning, coordination, and successful implementation
- Assist the Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion with pre-event planning duties (e.g., creating reservations, vendor inquiries, etc.)
- Assist the Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion with event setup, implementation, and breakdown
- Assist with contingency plans for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
- Assemble various event components/decorations using manually operated hand tools
- Develop engaging and informative educational components through research, curriculum design, and content creation to enhance the learning experience
- Assist supervisor with inquiring quotes and contracts with vendors, including catering services, audio-visual equipment providers, transportation services, and other suppliers on and off campus
- Adhere to strategies regarding crowd management to ensure safety and orderly conduct during events, utilizing communication and organization skills to handle diverse situations
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.
- Valid, non-provisional driver's license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills
