UWE Bristol’s Student Communications Team, part of our wider Student Recruitment and Marketing department, supports all university-level communications with our students. We work across all areas and levels of the university to develop and create engaging content; curate messaging across multiple print and digital channels; and run numerous strategic multi-channel, student-facing campaigns throughout the year.

We’re looking for maternity cover for our Student Communications Officer in the College of Health, Science and Society, to support the College to deliver impactful communications to their students.

We're looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, with an eye for detail - somebody who wants to know and understand the student experience and support our diverse student body to be successful. Somebody who understands how good communication makes an impact on our students and is able to work with the college executive teams to deliver change at a local level.

You’re an excellent copywriter with experience of creating engaging content that is tailored to your audience. You'll have experience of turning an idea into reality, as you'll be expected to personally manage small-scale projects. You'll develop and deliver communications using digital platforms, so you'll have strong technical skills, and you'll be comfortable working to strict deadlines. In return, you'll play a vital role in ensuring UWE Bristol students are at the heart of everything we do.
