FUNCTION: Assist with the day to day operation of the Outdoor Recreation Program which includes the following: Climbing Center Welcome participants into the facility and check them in and ensure waiver is on file or signed. Oversee the safe usage of the climbing center. Ensure that all participants are qualified to use the climbing wall. Correct any improper use of the climbing center or the equipment. Clean up around the climbing center area as needed, as well as keep up with general maintenance of the climbing wall. Provide care and supervision in the event of an emergency. Gear Rentals Make rental reservations for equipment by completing proper paperwork. Check equipment in and out ensuring all paperwork is completed properly. Communicate proper use and set up of equipment. Fix minor damage to equipment and/or report problems to assistant director. Apply late and damage fees when appropriate. Communicate to director if there is a problem.
