Nature of Position

Specialized clerical work involving the application of standard library techniques and procedures related to a specific library function. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: shelving books and other materials, operating printers and copy equipment, using computer applications in area of responsibility, performing online service activities and general customer service. Students must be enrolled at least 6 hours per long semester to be eligible. All positions require the ability to lift and move carts with library materials. Standard department hours of operation range from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Must be available to work within this hourly range.

Due to the nature of work, this position requires extreme attention to detail and handling of fragile materials.
