Alongside this, you will act as a frontline point of contact for the wider Student Experience team, and work closely with colleagues across registry to ensure a high quality and joined up student experience. You will work closely with colleagues across Academic Services, Student Support and Registry, as well as with our university partners, the University of East London (UEL) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Some flexibility to work across time zones may be required to support GIS's global student body.

Key Responsibilities
Careers Pathway Coordination:
- Coordinate students' progression through the GIS career enhancement pathway.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation and outcomes across the careers pathway.
- Liaise with careers coaches, mentors and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of the pathway.
Student Experience:
- Act as a first point of contact for student queries by email, phone and live chat, resolving routine matters directly and referring more complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Help to deliver open days, taster sessions, induction events and student webinars.
- Support the wider Academic Services and Registry team with general administrative tasks as required.
About You
Essential:
- Experience in a customer-facing, administrative or coordination role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
- Good IT skills, including confident use of MS Office, databases and remote collaboration tools.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while fully remote.
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience organising events, workshops, webinars or group programmes such as mentoring or coaching schemes.
- Experience in a careers, employability, coaching or mentoring-related role.
- Experience working in a Higher Education or online/distance learning environment.
- Experience supporting international students.
- A passion for sport and/or education.
