As a Student Experience Officer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to foster a vibrant and cohesive science student community at the University of Melbourne. You'll support student transition and belonging, whilst facilitating programs that develop well-rounded graduates. Working within a dynamic team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and execution of engaging events and programs, placing students at the heart of everything you do.
As a Student Experience Officer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to foster a vibrant and cohesive science student community at the University of Melbourne. You'll support student transition and belonging, whilst facilitating programs that develop well-rounded graduates. Working within a dynamic team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and execution of engaging events and programs, placing students at the heart of everything you do.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Program and Event Delivery: Contribute to the execution of student experience programs and events, including orientation and onboarding activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work professionally with diverse stakeholders, guest speakers, and student groups to deliver high-quality programs.
- Cross-functional Teamwork: Collaborate with various Faculty teams to drive innovative, highly visible programs that meet broader Faculty goals.
- Event Management: Develop and execute comprehensive event management plans, including venue setup, catering coordination, and volunteer recruitment.

- Have experience in event management or program delivery within a higher education setting.

- Be adaptable and open to adopting new technologies to improve workflow and program delivery.
- Have a passion for enhancing student experiences and fostering a sense of community.
