Job Type: 18.75 hours per week | Fixed term contract to 30 June 2028
Lucy Cavendish College, part of the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Student Futures Team Assistant to support the Student Futures team in delivering the College’s offerings in this area, including the Future Global Leaders Programme, Lucy Enterprise and other careers-related activities.
The successful candidate will also provide PA support to the Student Futures Director, to include managing and organising diary commitments, and organising domestic and international travel.
We seek a driven individual who shares our values to assist with planning and delivering the programmes to a high standard, consequently building and maintaining excellent relationships within the College community and with our partner organisations.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Previous administrative experience with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.
- Events preparation, planning and delivery experience (or keen interest in learning) with a proactive approach.
- Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Digital communication platform experience (e.g. group mailing products and Canva) is desirable.
- Diary and travel management experience is very welcome.

Part-time hours are flexible to suit both the College and the individual, to be discussed at interview. During programme delivery periods (typically late-September and mid-March) additional evening and weekend hours may be needed for a short period with time off in lieu available.
