Essential Job Functions
Greet visitors and assist students, faculty, and staff with
inquiries.
Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls as
needed.
Perform data entry, filing, and document organization.
Assist with scheduling meetings, reserving rooms, and
coordinating appointments.
Prepare and distribute office communications, such as emails,
memos, and flyers.
Maintain office supplies and ensure workspaces are tidy and
organized.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and
discretion.
Assist with special projects, events
Qualifications
Minimum Education High school diploma or GED
Must be currently enrolled student at Alcorn State University Minimum Experience Prior experience in area applied but not
required Licenses/Certifications N/A
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
Google Workspace.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced
environment.
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Participate in some outreach activities
