DESCRIPTION:
The part-time Student Leader Aide provides a variety of clerical support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Answers phone calls and is able to answer general questions about the college.
2. Provides back-up office and clerical support to assist the department.
3. Operates standard office equipment as needed to perform tasks.
4. Inputs data into computer database.
5. Maintains automated files and department related documentation.
6. May lead and plan student activities and meetings.
7. May assist in marketing and promoting campus programming.
8. May serve as student liaison on college-wide improvement meetings.
9. Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALFICATIONS:
1. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Typing and word processing skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
1. Typing and word processing skills.

3. Communication skills.
4. Ability to operate a personal computer, related software, and peripheral equipment.

2. Flexible hours/days based on department needs. up to 20 hrs/week .
