Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some evenings and weekends, 40 hours per week
Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No
Starting Salary Range: $20.47-$26.35 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
Position Summary
The Student Life Coordinator supports JCCC's mission by managing the daily operations of student engagement services and provides critical logistical support for the execution of Student Life events. This role is responsible for resource coordination ensuring that front-line service areas and engagement spaces operate with high standards of professionalism and efficiency. By coordinating complex operational systems and effectively deploying resources, the incumbent ensures that campus programming is executed seamlessly, fostering a vibrant and supportive environment that enhances the overall student experience.

Position details include but are not limited to:
- Service Excellence & Quality Assurance Ensure all departmental services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with high professional standards. Resolve daily operational issues to maintain consistent service delivery and minimize disruptions. Maintain timely, high-quality outcomes across all service areas through active monitoring and quality control.
- Event Logistics & Execution Lead the logistical planning and setup for Student Life events to ensure seamless execution. Effectively deploy student staff to support event needs while maintaining operational flow. Oversee event execution to ensure activities run smoothly and align with departmental goals.
- Personnel Oversight & Resource Coordination Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate student staff maintaining staffing levels and workflows. Support and monitor student staff, providing the necessary guidance to ensure effective delivery service. Assist in the coordination of staffing and physical resources to meet the demands of daily operations. Provide critical operational and administrative support for broader departmental initiatives and special projects.
