About us

The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.

The Inclusion Team is part of Student Services located within the broader Student Department (SEVE). The team works closely with the Committee for Reasonable Adjustments, psychologists, inclusion and wellbeing specialists and colleagues responsible for student engagement (Office of Student Life) to ensure that all students are supported throughout their studies in an accessible, inclusive learning and social environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities

Your role

We are looking for a 50% Inclusion Officer to support students with special educational needs and/or disability within a collaborative and student-focused environment. The role focuses on ensuring students receive consistent and appropriate support from enrolment through to graduation, and that reasonable adjustments are in place when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet with students to discuss their needs and available support options
  • Liaise with faculty and programme teams to implement support and agreed adjustments
  • Review documentation and prepare requests for the Committee for Reasonable Adjustments (CAR)
  • Monitor student support and follow up as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Provide guidance on inclusive practices and available resources
  • Offer workshops and training on inclusive practices and inclusive education to students and staff

Your profile

  • Master's degree in psychology, Inclusive Education or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs and/or disability
  • Understanding of reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices in higher education
  • Appreciation of and sensitivity to multicultural and multilingual environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised, discreet and able to manage confidential information
  • Collaborative, empathetic and solution-oriented approach with a genuine interest in student success
  • Fluency in French and English is required; other languages are considered an asset
